Before proper rehabilitation and restoration of SIBOL sites in the country can take place, appropriate ‘green assessments’ activities need to happen first. And no place is more fitting to kick off this massive undertaking than in Puerto Princesa, Palawan which houses the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park (PPSRNP) and Cleopatra’s Needle Forest Reserve.

(CCIPH) kicked things off for 2020 by hosting the Climate Emergency Response: A Roundtable Discussion on Incentivizing Climate Change Mitigation Actions through Forestry Investments last January 21, 2020 at AIM Conference Center, Makati.

Wildlife Conservation Course (WCC) 2019
The Wildlife Conservation Course 2019 is an annual short-course offered by the Wildlife Conservation Research Unit (WildCRU) of the University of Oxford. This year, the Center for Conservation Innovations Ph., Inc. hosted the WCC 2019 together with the De La Salle University Dasmariñas and the Energy Development Corporation. The course employed various team challenges that aims to build capacities, encourage collaborations among different conservation groups from the government, civil society groups and private sectors.
