GST Completes Global Mapper Workshop in SG

CCIPH’s Geospatial Solutions Team members completed a Global Mapper workshop in Singapore last March 5, 2024, where they focused on gaining skills to enhance the resolution of orthomosaic images from drones using cutting-edge tools and techniques. They are also currently exploring the latest technologies for aerial surveys at Geo Connect Asia trade fair in the Marina Bay Sands Expo Convention Center.

GlobalMapper is a software package that allows quick viewing, merging, importing, and exporting of different raster, vector, and elevation datasets. It is often referred to as a Swiss Army knife in the GIS user community due to its ability to open numerous file formats and powerful tools, including LiDAR editing.
