Jade recently joined the Center for Conservations Innovations Ph. under the Geospatial Solutions Team. An undergraduate student of Geography, her studies in this discipline were useful in her earlier stint with different government programs. Most of her previous projects concerned disaster risk assessment and mitigation, as well as, livelihood optimisation for industries most affected by climate change. These projects provided experience and knowledge for better application of her skills in GIS. Jade seeks to support the numerous specialist teams of CCIPH by contributing mapping skills and GIS techniques, focusing on exploring the use of remotely-piloted vehicle systems, added to the organization’s arsenal of geospatial tool.
