Clark Jerome Jasmin (JC)

Clark Jerome Jasmin, or JC as his colleagues call him, has been serving CCIPH since 2014 as a project officer. He has been working on various GIS-based applications on identifying High Conservation Value Areas (HCVAs) for conceptualizing the species and landscape level interventions, modeling of ecological niche, patterns and species geographic distribution, reanalyzing the Key Biodiversity Areas (KBAs), and facilitating training activities for partners on different levels of GIS to develop local capacity that responds to both local and national needs. He is also currently involved in various ecological studies and work together with partner offices to develop monitoring systems using open-source citizen science innovations for biodiversity conservation.

JC earned his degree in BS Biology at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila and is currently pursuing his post-baccalaureate degree in MS Conservation Biology at De La Salle University-
