Full time:
8:00am to 5:00pm with one-hour lunch break

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead in the conduct of biodiversity baseline assessments, including primary and secondary data review
  • Report on biodiversity aspects of the project and provide technical assistance throughout the project timeframe
  • Provide advice on strategic planning for project implementation to attain project objectives
  • Lead in the formulation and development of biodiversity monitoring and action plans; and integration of biodiversity in management plans
  • Conduct end-of project assessments compared against baseline and publication of results of baseline assessments


  • Hold a degree in biology or equivalent
  • Extensive knowledge on biodiversity conservation
  • Extensive knowledge on species management and conservation area management
  • Knowledge on national policies and regulations in environmental management that are significant in developing conservation management plan
  • Knowledge on current computer programs and softwares to facilitate data analysis such as R, QGIS, Program PRESENCE, Program DISTANCE, and Maximum Entropy Algorithm that will be used as basis for developing management plans and conservation frameworks
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in Tagalog and English
  • Experience on community organizing and facilitating planning workshops
